Most will find that either Ayous, or Limba performs best as medial plies due to being efficient with their physical properties, without adding too much weight (which becomes a big deal when one is dealing with grams of wood in terms of the finished blade's weight). I am always open to special requests that are unlisted, as long I can comprehend your equipment needs as a player, I'm sure we can find what needs to be in your blade...
